So, i want to know difference between Greenposion and Redsnow. Can I jailbreak untethered without restoring it to custom firmware? It's not without its drawbacks, however. The release is from today so there are issues, which need to be ironed out. Like, say, the lack of Windows support, it's just for Mac users at this point. The same goes for Linux. We're sure this will change in the near future. Update 06 Feb: Greenpois0n is now available for Windows as well.
